The function of the compost turner:

2. Adjust the temperature of the raw material pile.

During the operation of the compost turning machine, the raw material pellets are fully contacted and mixed with the air, and a large amount of fresh air can be contained in the material pile, which is beneficial for aerobic microorganisms to actively generate fermentation heat, and the temperature of the pile rises; when the temperature is high, fresh air can be supplemented. Reduce the temperature of the stack. A cycle of medium temperature - high temperature - medium temperature - high temperature is produced, and many beneficial microorganisms proliferate and reproduce fast in the temperature range to which they are accustomed.

3. Improve the permeability of the raw material windrow pile.

The turning system may process the material into tiny clumps, transforming the viscous and thick material pile into fluffy and elastic clumps with appropriate porosity.

4. Adjust the moisture of the raw material windrow pile.

The ideal water percentage for raw material fermentation is about 55%, while the moisture level of final organic fertilizer is less than 20%. Biochemical processes create fresh water during fermentation, and the consumption of raw materials by microbes causes water to shed its carrier and become free. As a result, in addition to the evaporation generated by heat conduction, the turning of the raw material by the turning machine will form necessary water vapor emission with the timely reduction of water throughout the fertilizer-making process.

5. To realize the special requirements of the composting process.

For example, the crushing of raw materials, giving a certain shape to the raw material pile or realizing quantitative displacement of raw materials, etc.

The process of making compost:

1. As fertilizer foundation materials, Livestock and poultry manure and other materials, organic household waste, sludge, and so on are utilized; pay attention to the carbon-nitrogen ratio (C/N): Because composting materials have varying C/N ratios, we must employ The C/N ratio is kept at the 25~35 level that the microbe like allowing fermentation to proceed smoothly. The completed compost typically has a C/N ratio of 15~25.

2. After adjusting the C/N ratio, it may be blended and layered. The idea at this point is to regulate the compost's total moisture level to 50-60% before beginning. If the water content of livestock and poultry manure and other materials, domestic garbage, sludge, and so on is too high, you can add organic matter, relatively dry auxiliary materials that can absorb water, or use the backflow method to place the dry fertilizer below to form strips, and then place the containing material on top. The middle is filled with livestock and poultry dung and other materials, household rubbish, sludge, and other items, as well as a huge volume of water, so that the water above can seep to the bottom and be turned over.

3. Stack the base material in strips on a flat surface. The stack width and height should be equal to the working width and height of the equipment as much as possible, and the specific length needs to be calculated. Compost turning operation:

1. It can be controlled by both temperature and smell. If the temperature is higher than 70°C (about 158 degrees Fahrenheit), it should be turned over, and if you smell the smell of anaerobic ammonia, it should be turned over.

2. When turning the pile, the inner material should be turned outward, the outer material should be turned inside, the upper material should be turned downward, and the lower material should be turned upward. This ensures that the material is fully and evenly fermented.
